An Early Risk Taker
When it came to her passion for performance, she didn’t just show an interest in becoming an actress; she actively set out to become one. Early on, she took acting classes in Vienna. Then, one day, she decided to take a risk. She forged a note from her mother to skip class for a week to spend time in the studios of the Sascha Film production company.
It was the biggest Austrian film company at the time. There, she managed to find herself a job working as a script supervisor. Eventually, she got a role as an extra in a 1930 film called Money on the Street. Her determination and drive to make it in show business pushed her to continue climbing the ranks.
