2. Cher and Sonny

Cher and her beloved Sonny Bono met in 1962. He was working at the time for Phil Spector, a record producer.

Cher wanted to be in the spotlight from an early age and knew that by getting closer to Spector she could get closer to her dreams. When Sonny offered her a position as his housekeeper she was elated. Cher started out by singing backup but quickly climbed the musical ladder to having Spector produce her first album “Ringo, I Love You” which was an absolute flop.
