Cher wanted to be in the spotlight from an early age and knew that by getting closer to Spector she could get closer to her dreams. Cher started out by singing backup but quickly climbed the musical ladder to having Spector produce her first album “Ringo, I Love You” which was an absolute flop.

4. Cher and Anthony Kiedis

Although much older than Anthony Kiedis – lead singer of the phenomenal rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers, she ended up in a situation where she was the first naked woman he had ever seen.

I realized I was gay.”

She was called “one of the most dominant figures in music and entertainment for more than six decades”. She was able to do this because Cher is fluid. She, like Madonna, changes with the times. She attributes her luck to both her mother and Sonny for believing in her and pushing her to greatness.
