If you are watching the Last Jedi, you will notice that the last large frigate the resistance has to its cause is called the Raddus. This reference is in homage to a character in Rogue One . In Rogue One an Admiral by the name of Raddus commands the only ship that was able to get a radio transmission and transfers those plans to Princess Leia before being destroyed.
