Dana Carvey’s Church Lady graced us with her presence many years ago with the iconic character who shares her thoughts on current political and cultural issues.
Carvey said he based the character on women he saw from the church he grew up going to. They would always keep track of his and others’ attendance. The recurring character has a few memorable and hilarious moments with different SNL hosts.
