Bonnie was a smart girl, but, amid the great depression, she longed to get out of Texas. She hated her job at the local café and wanted to experience something different. Unfortunately, Clyde was already involved in illegal activity by the time he met Bonnie. Although they seemed to be coming from different worlds, they had an instant connection.
