California was devastated by major wildfires in July of this year. Over 1,890,438 acres were affected. The fires caused more than $3.5 billion in damages, including $1.792 billion in fire suppression costs. And the photos captured leave you speechless.

This photo was taken in Redding, California. The cars were destroyed by the Carr Fire on July 27, 2018. The Carr Fire was a large wildfire that burned in the Shasta and Trinity Counties. The fire burned 229,651 acres before it was 100% contained late on August 30, 2018. At its peak, the fire involved 4,766 personnel from multiple agencies.
