All Banged Up
Being a young star is difficult for any actor, and the cast of the Titanic was no exception. The movie was physically and emotionally demanding, especially for the leads, DiCaprio and Winslet. Kate openly spoke about how she got banged up while filming the movie. She even revealed that some of the bruises Rose had in the movie were real, and the makeup artists recreated them for later scenes.

The actress also reportedly chipped her elbow bone while making the movie. Winslet also told a terrifying story about how she almost drowned during a scene inside the sinking boat. Her jacket got caught on the gate, and she couldn’t get out of the water. Thankfully, she was fine, but she probably should have used a stunt double.
