40 “Where Were You?” Moments From the Last 70 Years

On February 14th, 2005, the world saw one of the most significant disruptions in entertainment history. Before this day, we would create a video and then upload it onto a website with no way to generate traffic for the videos. Not to mention it took a lot of work to get one video uploaded onto a website. For instance, if the video’s quality was too high, then it had to be compressed using another program.

An American video sharing website “YouTube” entered the web and made it extremely easy for anyone to simply share their stories, in the form of videos at any length at the simple click of a button, and all that for free! Where were you when YouTube first came out? Did you post a video just for the fun of it? I wish I had!
