Each week during the series, these undiscovered acts perform in front of a tough group of celebrity judges, and many manage to stun the crowd with their show-stopping performances. As each act strives to make it through to the final round and scoop the life-changing $1 million prize, the audience feels more connected to them as we learn their back stories.

So let’s take a look at the most memorable winners and finalists and see what happened to them after they wowed the judges on the show.

Darci Lynne Foster

In 2017 in season 12, the teen ventriloquist, Darci Lynne Foster managed to sway the judges and became the youngest contestant to ever be crowned the winner of America’s Got Talent. She went on to headline her own show in Las Vegas.

Darci then hit the road and set off on a national tour of the country. The tour was such a sell-out that she even had to extend it. Still, even though Darci has been busy with her touring schedule, she also found time to give back. In June 2018 she performed in front of patients and friends in the Children’s Center Rehabilitation Hospital in Oklahoma.
