‘ Die Hard ’ is just one of those classic “guy movies” that goes down in history as one of the genre’s best. And the movie’s villain, Hans Gruber, is also one of the best. Gruber, played by the late Alan Rickman, is an internationally-known German terrorist. He masterminds everything from the Plaza heist, taking hostages and trying to steal $600 million worth of bank bonds. Gruber was the face of all Euro-accented monomaniacs is movies.
