36. Aaron Stampler from ‘Primal Fear’
The character Martin Vaill (played by Richard Gere) pursues the case of a young Aaron Stampler – shy, stuttering, and accused of a vicious crime. Aaron claims that he doesn’t remember any details from the crime, despite having run away from the scene of the crime covered in blood. Turns out Stampler holds a second personality named Roy, his alter-ego with less of a conscience. Basically, it’s Roy that’s the villain in this film. Edward Norton plays this dark character masterfully.
