Born on June 14th, 1969 in West Germany. Steffi started her professional career in 1982 and she won a total of 107 career titles before retiring in 1999. Steffi won 22 Grand Slam Singles Titles, one behind Serena Williams. She had 7 Wimbledon, 6 French, 4 Australian, and 5 US Open. This great tennis player showed her ability to win on any ground and was consistent over the 17-years of her career. She was the first player to achieve the Golden Slam after scooping all the four major trophies including Olympic Gold Medal, all in the same year.
