WNBA first drafted Maya in 2011. Subsequently, she was part of the WNBA finals team during her first three consecutive years. She has won two Olympic gold medals and two World Championship gold medals. Her other achievements include winning WNBA Rookie of the Year award in 2011, WNBA Finals MVP award, WNBA Most Valuable Player award, four WNBA championships and two WNBA All-Star Game MVPs awards. Maya won the Euro League and Spanish league in 2012 and the Chinese league in three consecutive years. She says she would be a singer if she weren’t a pro-athlete.
