Maria Sharapova – Tennis
Maria Sharapova was named the world No. 1 for the first time in 2005, at the age of 18. She is one of ten women, the only Russian, to hold the career Grand Slam. She’s also an Olympic medalist.
She wrote a memoir that reached No. 7 on the New York Times best-seller list. In November of last year, she went to Puerto Rico to help in relief efforts after Hurricane Maria devastated the island. She also donated revenue from Sugarpova, her own candy company, to a relief fund.
