Although the second movie in George Romero’s series shares no similar cast members with the first, Rotten Tomatoes hailed it as one of the most ‘ compelling and entertaining zombie films ever made ’. That’s because of the gripping plot, compelling characters and the way it manages to bring the zombie apocalypse story to life was ahead of its time.
