Susan Sarandon Fell Ill
When you think about movie sets, or at least when I think about them, I think about glamour and extravagance surrounding the craziness of filming. Well, that is not correct. The Rocky Horror Picture Show is no exception, and the cast and crew went through a lot while they were filming. For one thing, they had to withstand unheated sets while filming the pool scenes.

This doesn’t sound like it is the biggest deal but, think about being in a cold pool all day. We would all end up sick, and that is exactly what happened. Susan Sarandon got sick from the cold water and was literally “shaking with fever” on the set. She just pushed through it and kept filming scenes. Despite everything, she kept going on, and the filmmakers only spoke about her with kind words after this.
