But Donny never abandoned his wholesome persona. Well, for the most part. He’s a Mormon, but he isn’t a saint. When he was in his late teens, he ended up stealing his brother’s childhood girlfriend, Debbie, and the two got married when Donny was just 20 years old. The now 62-year-old star has maintained the no smoking, drinking, drugs lifestyle.

Over forty-plus years later and the couple is still happily married with five children. And like the Mormon family they are, they devote every Sunday morning to going to Church. They celebrated 41 years together in 2019. Debbie’s post on Instagram read: “Happy 41st #anniversary to my sweetheart, Debbie. The best decision I ever made was to share my life and heart with you. #MyBetterHalf #ForeverInLove.”
