At the site of the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in Los Angeles, California, the Green Bay Packers defeat the Kansas City Chiefs 35-10. 1974 - Happy Days premieres on ABC television. 1978 - The Dallas Cowboys defeat the Denver Broncos by a score of 27-10 in Super Bowl XII. 2006 - NASA's Stardust spacecraft becomes the first to return to Earth with a sample of cosmic dust. 2009 - US Airways Flight 1549, flown by Captain Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger successfully makes an emergency landing in the Hudson River in New York.
